WELCOME

Welcome to the Richardson Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (RCPAAA), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1993 to support the Richardson Police Department and strengthen the partnership between law enforcement and the community it serves.

Made up of graduates of the Richardson Citizen Police Academy, the RCPAAA serves as a bridge between the Richardson Police Department and the citizens of Richardson. Our members volunteer their time, assist with department programs and events, and help promote public understanding of the important work performed by the Richardson Police Department.

Through fundraising activities, including our popular Spring and Fall Electronics Recycling and Paper Shredding events, the RCPAAA provides financial support for programs that benefit Richardson Police Department personnel, their families, and retired RPD K9s. Funds raised help provide college scholarships for eligible children of Richardson Police Department personnel and assist with medical expenses for retired RPD K9 partners who have faithfully served our community.

Together, we support those who protect Richardson while fostering stronger relationships between the police department and the citizens it serves.
