After over a year of delays (bureaucratic problems, holidays scheduling, and COVID-19), the long awaited dedication ceremony will take place on Friday, September 18th at 10:00 AM.
Due to the corona virus, this will be a virtual ceremony, streamed live on the City of Richardson’s CITV outlet.
Speakers will include Texas State Senator Angela Paxton, Texas House Representative Jeff Leach, Richardson Mayor Paul Voelker, and Richardson’s Chief of Police, Jimmy Spivey.
Live coverage of the unveiling of the sign will be provided by the RPD’s aerial drone unit.
